  • Shelley Wang, President & Owner
    Prior to launching Plan Ahead Events of Phoenix Metro, Shelley has over ten years experience in coordinating meetings and events from small scale gatherings to large conferences, as well as special events such as weddings and parties.  She has worked for the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau, an event management and production company, her own wedding planning business, and a non-profit organization planning special events.  Owning a Plan Ahead Events is the fulfillment of a life-long dream for Shelley and she looks forward to fulfilling dreams for her clients, every day.

    Shelley currently serves on the Monthly Education Program Committee as the 2010 - 2011 Committee Co-Chair Elect and the 2010 Annual Awards Gala Committee at Meeting Professional International (MPI) Arizona Sunbelt Chapter as well as the Cultural Awareness Committee and the Social & Network Committee at National Association for Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) Phoenix Affiliated Chapter.

    Account Executive

    Plan Ahead Events is a full service meeting and event management company serving the Phoenix are and beyond.  This position is with a young company looking to expand.  You can get in on the ground floor and grow as the company grows.  This position is COMMISSION ONLY - B2B direct selling with proven TOP performance and experience minimum of 2 years is necessary.  Having and understanding of the meeting event industry is a plus, but not required.  The commission plan is very lucrative on everything you sell.  You are completely uncapped on your earning potential.


    Responsibilities include:

    • Increases sales and market share by promoting and selling assigned products and services to potential clients
    • Provide service and product information to clients
    • Initiate focused programs and services to increase sales and market share for specific products and services
    • Communicate with clients in a clear and effective manner
    • Build internal and external relationships while establishing credibility and rapport with clients
    • Organize and schedule tasks, develop realistic goals and action plans to increase sales and market share
    • Cold calling to develop territory effectively
    • Acceptable if presenting other products and services as long as the prospect demographic is similar
